Alfie's Story

Alfie died suddenly at the age of four weeks from what doctors later discovered was a congenital heart defect.

Thanks to the wonderful generosity of his family, friends, colleagues and the people of the Isle of Man, Tiny Tickers has been able to provide training, both on the Isle of Man and beyond.

* On this page, Kelley Fee and Peter Cubbon, Alfie’s parents said:
“We came across Tiny Tickers on the internet while searching for a cause relevant to what was wrong with Alfie. Once we knew we had raised a substantial amount we emailed the Charity asking them if they would be able to use any of the money on the Island. We were very glad when they said they would try to do this as at the time, although we wanted to give the money to something relevant to Alfie, we did also think it would be best for the money to be used on the Island. We did look at charities here but any charity to do with the heart was not aimed at babies. Tiny Tickers just seemed perfect for what we wanted and we liked how they were not a very big charity so they would appreciate (and have appreciated) and used the money wisely.”
