CHARITY OF THE YEAR

As a small charity Tiny Tickers really values companies that are able to help us raise funds and awareness and we would love to work with more companies.  If your company is looking to support a charity that can really engage your employees and customers then we could be the perfect fit. 

HOW WE SPEND THE MONEY

It costs around £100,000 each year to run Tiny Tickers and we receive no government funding so we rely on the generosity of companies, trusts and individuals.  Every penny counts for a charity as small as ours:

• A donation of £350 could allow us to provide specialist screening training at a hospital which will pick up babies with heart problems that would otherwise remain undiagnosed
• A donation of £1,000 could pay to design and print
  Think HEART leaflets informing parents of the signs of heart disease in newborn babies and saving young lives
• A donation of £5,000 could allow us to train and support a Heart Champion in a local hospital, raising awareness and helping to increase detection rates in the region
• A donation of £30,000 could pay for an innovative iPad app which will help health professionals to access vital information during screening to increase detection rates

Liberum Capital’s staff have chosen Tiny Tickers as one of three anchor charities for support this year by the Liberum Foundation.  On 8^th September employees (and our very own Trustee, Anton) undertook an abseil and trading day for its 3 anchor charities and raised an amazing amount for Tiny Tickers.

Caritas Recruitment is a recruitment agency specialising in recruiting Social Workers and Social Care professionals and chose Tiny Tickers as its charity of the year.  One of their employees Lowenna took part in the 4th Big Heart Bike Ride for Tiny Tickers whilst other employees ran the London 10k.
