Prenatal (fetal) heart disease conditions

These page are for health professionals engaged in Fetal & Neonatal Cardiac & Obstetric Ultrasound.
Information should not be taken out of context or used for other purposes

A list of some common structural congenital heart disease conditions in fetal life.

The terms used follow the Sequential Segmental Analysis, (SSA) naming convention.

Each condition represents a spectrum of disease that progress through fetal life, so it is important to seek proper medical advice.

Note: You may find it useful to refer to the Normal Fetal Heart sketch.
