Liberum Capital choose Tiny Tickers

Liberum Capital’s staff have chosen Tiny Tickers as one of three anchor charities for support by the Liberum Foundation. We are delighted to be chosen by the Liberum Foundation and look forward to working with Liberum staff on a range of inititiatives. The money raised by the Liberum Foundation will help Tiny Tickers in its mission to improve the detection, diagnosis and management of congenital heart diseas and give babies a better start in life.
"The staff of Liberum Capital Ltd chose Tiny Tickers as one of the Liberum Foundation’s 3 anchor charities because they thought that the money that could be raised for Tiny Tickers would make an enormous difference to their aim of improving the detection, diagnosis and management of congenital heart disease, and give the 5000 babies born in the UK each year with this condition a better start in life. Tiny Tickers is a small charity with a BIG heart and the team’s enthusiasm, passion and track record to date resonated with Liberum’s staff."

MASS ABSEIL AND DONATION TO LAUNCH LIBERUM FOUNDATION
On 8 September 2011, Liberum Capital’s staff marked the launch of the independent investment bank’s charitable foundation – Liberum Foundation – with a day of fund-raising. Money collected from the day was donated to the Foundation to commence supporting the three staff-chosen anchor charities: School Home Support, St Giles Trust, and Tiny Tickers.
The event saw employees (and our very own Trustee Anton, pictured) bravely undertake a sponsored abseil from the 12th floor balcony and donation of the day’s trading commissions as well as other staff fund raising efforts and collections on the day. All of Liberum Capital clients trading on the 8th September, which is also Liberum Capital’s fourth birthday, therefore contributed indirectly to the Foundation.
We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who participated in the launch.
LATEST NEWS - Liberum Capital are donating over £25,000 to Tiny Tickers to support projects including awareness raising, training and a feasibility study for the Heart Champions pilot which aims to improve detection rates of heart babies at the 20 week scan
