Our Team

Our Trustees, Kate, Jan, Alan and Anton, are united by one common cause - to improve the care of babies with heart disease even before they are born.

We have two exceptional Trainers, Wendy and Helen, who are located in the north and south, so can cover most of the UK. Their training is very high quality and helps to maintain our reputation for excellence.

We help to support two Researchers, Vicky and Marisa, who are doing amazing work with ultrasound and MRI to understand how heart disease affects the development of the brain, which will lead to improvements in the quality of life for heart babies.

Our Chief Executive, Ian, joined the charity as a Trustee in 1999 and become the CE in 2001.  He comes from a technical business background and has guided the charity steadily and surely for the last decade.

Carla, our Director of Communications, has an impressive track record and is helping to raise vital funds and create new income streams.

We are lucky to have Oliver Rothschild as our Patron, with his extensive business and charity background.

We have many advisors and volunteers, including Helena who is our Chief Medical Advisor on heart babies and Daisy who is a heart baby herself, as well as many wonderful families who have helped, supported, inspired and guided us.

We are very grateful for all the help we have received over the years - from volunteers, supporters, families and friends.  We couldn't have done all this without you!
