Payment by Credit/Debit cards with Gift Aid

Example:  for a £20 donation with Gift Aid, you will be charged £20.55 and the charity receives £20 plus £5.65 Gift Aid.

a) Workwithus

May be better for non UK Taxpayers using a debit card

Fees: Slightly lower fees for Debit cards, but doesn't automatically add Gift Aid - so better for non UK taxpayers using Debit cards
(1.5% on credit cards or 25p on Debit Cards (inc VAT) plus 1.5% handling fee (excl VAT). £5 min. donation. Correct at: 29/4/06)

e.g. for a £20 donation, you will be charged £20 and the charity will receive approx. £19.40

Included for convenience, but fees may be higher

Requires a PayPal account - which is free to open and simple to set-up.
Fees: usually higher than other payment methods - please see PayPal website.  Gift Aid is not automatically added.

e.g. £21 donation, less 0.91 charges, results in £20.09 for the charity.
