This year, the Tiny Tickers 125 Challenge once again showcased the incredible dedication and creativity of our supporters. From baking and crafting to running and swimming, supporters took on a variety of challenges to raise funds and awareness for the 1 in 125 babies born with congenital heart disease (CHD).
Now into its third year, this October’s 125 Challenge was a resounding success, raising an incredible £33,838.38!
It was also wonderful to see so many children getting involved this year! Two-year old Teddy (helped by mum, Abby) made 125 bakes over the course of the month. Another enthusiastic two-year old, Jaxon, read 125 books with his parents. Ten-year old Freddy shot 125 baskets every day in October, while Lola, Poppy and Jessie made and sold 125 friendship bracelets! And Sophia and Ada, both eight-years old, sold 125 items at a stall in school.

The remarkable efforts of all our fundraisers will significantly aid us in our mission to improve the early detection and care of babies with CHD, and support their families.
Our Head of Fundraising and Supporter Engagement, Gaynor Bearder, said: “Once again, we have been bowled over by the incredible and imaginative ways our supporters have come together to take part in this year’s 125 Challenge. To raise a phenomenal £33,838 is mind-blowing and especially during such difficult times. It really shows the passion our communities have to support our vital work and to support their fellow heart-families. We are beyond grateful and extremely humbled. We all offer our heartiest thanks and our warmest wishes for the festive season.”
