The 9th October 2025 is Gift Aid Awareness Day, a chance to make some noise about one of the simplest ways to make your donation to Tiny Tickers go even further.
If you’re a UK taxpayer, saying “yes” to Gift Aid means we can claim an extra 25% on top of your donation, at no extra cost to you. That means for every £10 you give, we receive £12.50.
It’s a small tick that makes a big difference.
This additional support helps us reach even more families affected by congenital heart disease (CHD). It helps us train more sonographers to spot heart defects during pregnancy scans, provide more life-saving equipment to hospitals and support more heart families during their darkest hours.
Claiming Gift Aid is quick and easy. When you donate online, you’ll be asked if you’re eligible. Just tick the box and we’ll do the rest. You only need to do it once, and it covers all future donations, plus any you’ve made in the past four years, until you cancel it.
So, we’re asking all our supporters to check: have you ticked the Gift Aid box? If not, it’s never too late. You can fill out a Gift Aid declaration and help us do even more for tiny hearts.
