We are truly thankful for all the support that Tiny Tickers receives – we’re a very small charity, making a big impact for babies with congenital heart defects and their families, but we can’t do this work alone. We cannot do, what we do, without you.
Nearly half of our funding comes from all the amazing fundraisers who organise bake sales, run the Great North Run, hold sponsored walks, or set up monthly direct debit donations.
Samantha jumped out of a plane for us, bravely doing a skydive in memory of her son Matteo.

“I wanted to do something special for my son Matteo and Tiny Tickers, a charity close to my heart.
“When Matteo was born I fell totally in love. I was very much looking forward to all the wonderful things we would do together. We had a fantastic nine days at home with Matteo, getting to know all his little features and his sweet baby coos. Tragically, on day ten, Matteo became very unwell and passed away in the A&E department in mine and my husband’s arms. Our lives were changed forever. We later found out that Matteo had an undiagnosed heart condition. We will always wonder if his condition was diagnosed, would he still be with us today?”

We would like to say a huge thank you to our generous funders who fund a variety of our core work and projects. Here are some of those who support our life-saving work:
- Thanks to the trustees of the Edith Florence Spencer Memorial Trust, we have been able to place 10 pulse oximetry machines across the UK.
- The marvellous staff and pupils of City of London school who raised an incredible £69,000 for us in 2019!
- Thanks to PIB Insurance who have raised a huge £7,469.Julie Bostock nominated us in memory of her grandson Tommy – you can read more about Tommy here
- DWF Foundation are long-standing supporters of ours and are generously supporting our Think HEART public awareness campaign.

Tiny Tickers Heart Week in February 2022 raised over £40,000! To our fabulous fundraisers who bake, run and have fun, all in the name of Heart Week – thank you!
Vicky organised a back sale at her local mums and tots group as part of Heart Week.
“Being a new-ish mum myself I found the work the charity was doing incredibly inspiring – so when Heart Week came up I did what any self-respecting person would do and turned to cake! The support from the mums and dads was fantastic – the charity really brought out the generosity in everyone. It was a great morning and we raised far more than I would have expected – including awareness of the charity, heart defects and what to ask about during a scan. As a parent, you can’t help but be impressed with the work Tiny Tickers is doing and the families they are helping.”
