Mount Kilimanjaro Trek – 10 days; dates throughout 2019
One of the ‘Seven Summits’, Kilimanjaro in Tanzania is the highest freestanding mountain in the world. Its summit rises high above the dusty plains and huge permanent glaciers flow down from its peaks; these views are the reward for pushing your limits both physically and mentally.
Our trek takes the Machame route allowing gradual acclimatisation and an excellent chance of reaching the summit. During our six days on the mountain we pass through thick forest, moorland and scree en-route to the highest point, Uhuru Peak. This is a challenging trek at altitude, climbing one of the most impressive and well-known mountains in the world.
Inca Trail to Machu Picchu – dates available from April 2019
Machu Picchu is one of the most iconic sights in South America, and the culmination of our magnificent Inca Trail trek through the Peruvian Andes. Trek this breathtakingly beautiful route through valleys and high passes, scattered with fascinating Inca ruins. Trekking on Inca-paved paths and steps, our route takes us up through lush cloud forest to the demanding Dead Woman’s Pass (4200m). Continually climbing up or dropping down, our way is steep at times, and the altitude adds to the challenge. We finally come to the Sun Gate, which overlooks Machu Picchu, where your first magical glimpse provides an unforgettable reward for your efforts.
Permits for the Inca Trail are restricted and will be released in October, for 2019 dates. To avoid disappointment please make sure you sign up early.
