You don’t even have to leave your house to make a huge difference for babies with serious heart conditions!

Do something amazing!
Below are some ideas and inspiration for fundraising in and around your home.
Get Active
Running
Running is a great way to get active and challenge yourself. You could run alone or set your own challenge with friends. Simply set yourself a distance to run either in one day or over the course of a week/month and ask people to sponsor you.
Climbing
Transform your staircase into the world’s most iconic heights and climb your way to the top. From buildings to mountains, your stairs are the gateway to amazing achievements. Set a date for your climb and ask people to sponsor you as you would for any other challenge. Choose your distance, tell your friends, fundraise and challenge yourself!
Heres some heights to inspire you;
- The Gherkin : 1,037 steps
- Great Pyramid of Giza: 1,200 steps
- Empire State Building: 1,576 steps
- Eiffel Tower: 1,665 steps
- The Shard: 3,672 steps
- Ben Nevis: 22,197 steps
- Snowdon: 24,785 steps
Cycling
Pledge a donation for every mile you cycle or ask for sponsorship to cycle a cumulative distance. Cycle with friends and family, even the little ones can join in!
John Martin and his daughter Grace cycled 10 miles around Eastbourne, raising an incredible £1,160!

Yoga
Lead an online class using a video system like Skype, Facebook Live or Instagram Live. It could be yoga, pilates or old school aerobics. Set up a JustGiving page and ask for a donation to Tiny Tickers for friends to attend.
Family Fundraising
Green fingers
Choose your favourite plant and encourage your friends and family to plant seeds at the same time as you. Ask them for a donation, and over time you can watch your seeds change from seedlings into grown plants. The gardener of the plant that gets its first fruit or flower wins half the sweepstake donation. Donate the other half to Tiny Tickers and enjoy your beautiful plants.
Or how about a classic sunflower competition?
Sunflowers are bright and cheery and there is no flower that can lift someone’s spirits quite like the sunflower! Give your little ones a pack of seeds, plant them and watch them grow. Once planted encourage your children to seek sponsorship for every cm of growth they achieve.

During lockdown, Team Tiny Tickers’ children all planted some sunflowers to see whose would grow the tallest. Here is the outright winner!
Crafting
Why not be inspired by our amazing 8 year old fundraiser Faith? Faith and her mum Fiona run Faith’s Crafts selling some of Faith’s amazing handmade items to friends, family and the community. Entertain your family with a crafternoon, then when you have some beautiful creations head to Facebook marketplace or Ebay to sell them online!

Here’s Faith, selling her beautiful creations!
Celebrate & Give
Having a birthday party or wedding anniversary? Invite your guests to donate to Tiny Tickers instead of buying you gifts. You can set up a birthday fundraiser on Facebook or Instagram, which is an excellent way to ask friends and family to donate on your birthday.
Sponsored silence
Why not do a sponsored silence for a day? You can raise money by simply being quiet and getting people to donate. You might even find that children with parents who are working from home get sponsored to stay quiet for more than a day!
Psst… we have our very own Tiny Tickers sponsorship form you can download.
