Heart Week Fundraising Ideas & Resources
There are plenty of things you can do during Heart Week to help raise funds and awareness for babies with Congenital Heart Disease. Take a look at just some of our ideas:
Bake Off! Organise a Bake Sale, judge the best entries, award prizes and sell the goodies! See our Tiny Tickers cupcake recipe here to get you started.
Jar of sweets – fill a jar or bottle with Love Hearts and charge your friends and colleagues £1 to guess how many are in there (but remember to count them first). The winner gets the sweets!
Bring and buy – book a hall, ask people to bring along their old treasures, sell some cakes and ask people to pay for what it’s worth. One person’s trash is another’s treasure.
Buy your friends a tube of Smarties – let them eat the smarties and then ask them to fill the tubes with 20 pence pieces. Fundraising Fact – each tube will hold £12 when full.
Office Olympics – organise chair races, photocopying races, ruler javelin, 10m tea runs and perhaps a game of wastepaper basketball?
Dress down day at work or school. Donate £1 to wear casual attire or dress up as your favourite superhero
