Lyla loves to dance, but she almost didn’t get the chance. Her heart condition wasn’t diagnosed until she was 11 days old and in heart failure. She had to be resuscitated twice.

Her mum, Janine, says, “All I wanted was somebody to tell me that she would be ok, but of course, nobody could”.

Thankfully, Lyla made it to the operating table just in time for surgeons to save her life.

Today, she has hopes and dreams like any other child.
