Donate a Doll Appeal FAQs

Thank you for supporting our Donate a Doll Appeal. If you have any questions about the appeal, which are not covered below, please email our team at fundraising@tinytickers.org.

1. How much does a doll cost?

It costs just £10 for us to purchase a doll, give it a heart t-shirt and send it to a UK hospital.

2. How can I donate?

You can donate via our website here or by texting DOLL to 70085. This will cost £10 plus a standard rate text message.

3. How do I name my doll?

Once you have donated, please email fundraising@tinytickers.org and tell us your name, mobile phone number (if you donated by text), your doll’s name and a few lines about why you have chosen the name (optional). We will then add your doll’s name to a wristband and place it on the doll. We will email you a photograph of your doll and a birth certificate.

4. Can I name more than one doll?

Of course! Each doll costs £10, feel free to name as many as you like!

5. Can I choose which hospital my doll is sent to?

Unfortunately, we are unable to send specific dolls to specific hospitals. But we guarantee your doll will be sent to a sonography team at a UK hospital and will help sonographers when scanning tiny hearts.

6. My child would love one of the dolls? Can I buy one?

Sorry, but the dolls are not for sale. They have very important work to do!
